Have stock cylinders bored to 107. A good shop such as Hillside, or GMR Performance who I use will match the pistons to the bore and set the end gap on the rings. S&S bores their cylinders optimal. This means they are all (about) the same size, and take pistons off the shelf. Save the bucks and do the 107". Whatever cam you like such as the 555, or 54H, street port with stock throttle body. Excellent build. Very reliable.. I have done a few with no problems

Any chance you'd have a Dyno on that 583 build? Nobody seems to have much info on the 583's, and I think they'd have the torque that the 585's are lacking (just what my new motor needs).

Thanks,
-S

Want low rpm, arm-streching torque on a 107"er???
Install a Wood TW-5-6, with the proper cylinder head combo.
