Default tts vs. ?

I already have a tts on my wide glide and will be doing a build in the near future and am wondering if I should stay with the tts or go with something different? One of the cycle solutions racing Guy was saying How the tts does not work well because it uses the stock O2 sensor which will negate changes made? What do you guys think?

The only time the O2 sensors are doing their job is in, "Closed Loop". In the case of mine, which is a 08, that is when the AFR is set to 14.6.

You can set this AFR anyway you want or feel the need to. Mine is set pretty much only when in crusing mode. The rest of the time it is in, Open Loop and running on the VE tables which are somewhat richer.

This is the whole purpose of these "Tuners". The good ones work about the same way---Adjusts the ECM to your purpose.

Which is exactly what the factory does, except the EPA is leaning on them, so they have to other leaner setpoints.

Which are all adjustable.

You have THE BEST tuner on the market. No need to change....So, after your build is done, take the bike to Dave at JD's Cycleworks in Bethlehem, Pa and let him tune it.

I would not just walk away from his advice, I'd RUN away from his advice! If he thinks the TTS is garbage, and Power Commander is better, then he had NO CLUE.

The TTS is probalby the best of that group of tuners. It is the upgraded SERT with some new features that make it more user friendly for those tenacious enough to read the manual and take matters into their own hands. There is not substitute for a proper tune which is always an option.

The PC tuners have always dissed the SERT but mostly because the system was more sophisticated than they were. The SERT/TTS is capable of delviering a tighter tune all the tuners available. The PC tuners, with the exception of the new Power Vision system are all trottle position based tuners while the SERT?TS are speed densiity systems. It appears that the Dynojet guys have finally seen the light and are converting over to a speed denisty system.

I would stick with the TTS.
