Default Hydrogen Generator, run your bike on water? WHAT is HHO?

Gents,

Saw an interesting idea for cars today on youtube and was wondering if you think something like this would / could / should work on a sportster?
kind of a poor man's NO2 kit, uses water to make hydrogen which goes directly into the intake! Looks easy but unsure if the thing wont blow-up (says increases HP) or screw up the engine somehow.

I know it seems rad but with gas a $4.00 and climbing to 5 or more shouldn’t we consider this kind of stuff?

Video below, your thoughts.
PS: Im an old gearhead who cant resist this kinda stuff, may try it for S&G's.

It would work if you had a trailer with your tank of hydrogen. However trying to get it with the water will not work. However spraying a very little water in the intake will clean off the carbon. (piston will look like it's been shot peened) Do not want to do a lot of this. (Rough on bottom end of engine) I'm presently building me a small (coffee cup size) nuclear reactor for my bike. Having trouble finding the fuel. Figure about 100 old smoke detectors will work. I figure when Obama gets thru and then Palin has her turn I'm going to need it.

Pure,Pure Snakeoil.

The day comes when H2 is used for fuel will be the day people blowing themselves up will be very, very common.

The smallest molocule, even with two hooked up, for H2.
Will leak out of or through anything.

The Smallest Effort will set it off as it combines with Oxygen, (O2), explosivily. This is very dangerous stuff.

I think the EPA or Consumer Report has tested hundreds ofscheemes and none panned out.

Just pay the gas.

Thanks for all the debunking guys, I'm gonna try it now, as I see it what do I have to loose Vs what do I have to gain?

There are some really cool people making some really interesting things on this, very off the beaten path.

Your twin post to this is doing better. This is the negative side. Let us know if it works. Just don't blow your hand off or maybe in this case your Harley's head.

Not worth the effort. Just not.

Even liquid H2 is so little, even if a gal. or 2, to be more trouble than its worth. Maybe a lot more.

Look at the weight.

There is no liquid fuel that is better than gasoling for energy available except nitromethane. That can be used outside the labs.
Diesel or J2 has more but who runs a diesel motorcycle?
Alcohal has about 1/2 the energh per unit volume.

These have their uses in racing, pretty much only.

H2 just isn't worth the effort.

I think you're wrong. Try it for yourself. Build it right there's a way to build it very efficiently

that has been around forever, remember even in the early 60's gimmicks were sold to enhance your engine with a lame electrolysis gadget.
as for as hydrogen as a fuel, the space program has been using it from inception, matter of fact they use it to generate electricity, make drinking water and the list goes on.
the #1 issue with hydrogen is storage due to flammability, remember what happened to the hindenburg in germany.
will it get here, hummmmm, probably.
