Default PCIII tip - reset zero throttle position

this is probably a no brainer for you guys that wrench a lot.

I was suspecting that the map I loaded for my new pipes wasn't right, I sent an email to jamie at Fuel moto asking if he had one. he sent me back a map today and also included a reminder to check and reset the zero throttle position on the PCIII.

sure enough I had overlooked it, and at zero throttle the PCIII thought it was actually 6% and at full throttle it registered 94%.

I don't thing it mattered much on the top end, but at cold idle (1250 rpm) the difference was 15% fuel (rich). without actuallty riding the only thing I can say for sure is that I no longer have a back fire and blue flame when I rev it and let off the throttle. now I'm anxious to get out on the road...maybe a couple of days and this ice will melt.

also Kudos to Jamie and Fuel Moto...a first class act.

I had the dealer install mine as part of my purchase, but when I plugged into it last week for the first time, I found he did the same thing! 6% throttle. I zeroed it but did not do the full throttle yet.

Also you should look at the other features of the PCIII such as the RevXtender

Just a tip...Ocassionally hook up computer to PCIIIand check your 0% tp. Went out to tweak my map a few days ago and noticed my 0% tp was no longer at 0%. Don't really know how it changed from zero, but it was at 5-6%....Just a thought.
