Default 07 SG exhaust....Best setup???

I have 07 SG with Rush compatible tip slip ons, SE/AC, and SERT. Dealer put all of this on. It has not been on dyno, but runs great... Now I wonder if there is a better exhaust setup. Would I get more ponnies by going to true dual, or maybe 2-1. I want to get max horsepower on this moto!!!!!! What should I do????

Have it dyno'd first. Yesa 2 into one iswillgive youmore HP, but why spend any more money? There is no guarentee that switching pipes again will gain any more then 1 or 2 hp more then the set upyou already have.People on this board have gotten pretty good number out of the set up like yours.

I just put mine on so I am going to have itdyno'd again soon.

You didn't say which baffles you're using, but I think Rush has them up to 2.5", and the bigger ones will translate into more top-end power and noise, but possibly at the expense of some low-end torque. I'm using 1.75" because I want to maximize low-end torque and keep noise low enough to hear my new stereo.

I have the 2 inch. I wanted the 2.5, but the people at rush advised against it. they said people are having real trouble tuning the 07's with the 2.5 baffle. I was wondering if pulling the wrapping out around the baffle would change anything????

Why not remove the restriction on stock head pipeswhere rear pipe meets front pipe on r/h side at tranny area.Close to an inch of pipe material blocking exh.
