Default What's with the name change...?

Hey,

What is with the name change- I damn near moved on thinking I was sent to the wrong place or was hacked....... The big problem was the shift in the address (Forwarding- I understand)...

But why the change- Hassle from the Motor Company or what....

Inquiring minds and nosey people want to know-

BRUCE

Not sure why, but this is what was on the home page:
Welcome to VTT!! -- 2/21/2005 10:00:00 AM
HDF has changed it's domain name to VTwinTalk.com. The change made to the domain name will ensure our continued growth to become the best resource and forum for those who are enthusiastic about their V Twin powered bikes.

We hope you like the new changes and continue to help us make VTwinTalk.com to best site around!!

Sincerely,
The VTwinTalk.com Team

Not being a gear head, this is gonna probably sound pretty elementary. But I have already asked enough trivial questions to know my ***** won't be broken, at least not too badly!

Having a 1200 custom, is that considered a v-twin as well?

JOM,

I would think so!

But you are right, the name change is to ensure continued growth and expansion of the site. It's growth since about November has really been phenominal, all attributed to the members themselves being what they are.

Same here. I actually backed up to double check that I didn't click on the wrong link.

Mac, you are way too nice. I'm going to have to throw you in with the Rotti's to toughen you up a little.

I had to do a double-take, last week I got tossed into the Saab forum when posting a message.

I thought to myself: "Self... here we go again!"

Did I mention that I HATE Saab's?

I also just about moved on.... I had joined a v-twin forum not to long ago & it sucked. When I logged on tonight I thought I was back in the old one. This sight is awsome good feed back & as was said above, "No Ball Busting". I did like the Harley Bar & Sheild trade mark from the old design better.
