Default WYSIWYG editor issues?

For the past few days I've noticed the WYSIWYG editor not working. Also when editing posts I see actual HTML codes vs the old forum codes IE < B > for bold vs [ B ], and instead of having carriage returns be hidden I'm seeing actual < br / > HTML tags. A couple of days ago someone changed a setting on the forums that affected the "view first post" and "view last post" images in the topic listings so that they displayed as text instead of an image. It was changed back a bit later, but I'm wondering if something else was changed around that time that is affecting the editor. Also, when I make a post, unless I include HTML code for line breaks (the < br /> tag) it jumbles everything together in a single paragraph. Irritating, to say the least, and reminiscent of the troubles we were having during the "3 month upgrade" of the site a few months ago. Can someone look into it, please?

EDIT
This post is a perfect example of the "jumbled up paragraph". I had several paragraphs in the editor before clicking the button to post it, and afterwards it was all jumbled up. When editing I had to insert BOLD HTML tags as well as line breaks to add this edit note. Also, the quote marks I used were converted to HTML codes during the edit. Looks like someone definitely turned a **** they shouldn't have in the forum settings, again.

Ok, I've tracked the problem down to something specific to a recent update to either Firefox or one of my plugins, but I'll be damned if I can figure out which one is causing the problem. Everything works as expected when I use Internet Explorer (UGH!), so I'm hoping I can track down the problem with FF pretty quickly.

Any posts I make with FF get all jumbled up into a single paragraph when I click the "post" button, and editing it shows HTML codes instead of BB codes if any text formatting was used. I'm having to insert < BR > line breaks in this post just to separate the paragraphs.

Anyone else running FF 2.0.0.20 with AdBlockPlus 1.0.1 and NoScript 1.8.8.8 having any issues with the advanced editor? I've disabled both of those plugins, but I'm still having the same issue(s), so not positive they're the cause.

Just looking for suggestions. Thanks!

I'm seeing the same codes show up in my edits and quotes, and I haven't done any updates or user changes...figured it couldn't just be me...
and the icons still aren't showing up for me when this is goin' on...??

NoScript is apparently hosed up right now. Even doing the "Allow scripts globally" doesn't turn it completely off. You have to go into Addons and disable it from that popup.

Once I did that and restarted FF, the WYSIWYG editor (and all other java based functionality I lost after the last NoScript update) started working again.

Sucks being exposed like this, but the latest version of NoScript was making FF completely unusable for me.

[EDIT]
Confirmed, all the formatting remained after I posted, and the font format controls are active again.
