That's odd. The reason I ask is that some anti-virus programs give false positives. For example AVG and Avast are known for giving false positives.

I am not sure if you're using McAfee's anti-virus and/or just the McAfee firewall with comcasts AV, but two anti-virus programs are not better than one. The fact is they will conflict with each other. Google it...I don't make this **** up.

Lets hope this lets the administrators know there may be a potential in the forums for a virus it happened 2 days in a row and both times I was looking at threads on stereos and speakers I hope there is a way for them to check it
Thanks Ian

I've been on the forum for 5 years and have been the Admin here for over 4. I'm on here several hours every day and have NEVER had a virus warning and have never had any member report getting a virus here. We have tons of virus protection. I really don't think anything is sneaking through to your computer when I'm running a standard Dell Laptop with with Norton 360 with no problems.

Ian - thanks for reporting it.
If the issue continues, please let us know.
I am very very highly doubtful that it would have come directly from this site, but anything is possible.
If it comes up again, usually your virus software will tell you the url from where the bug is coming from and some small details, if you are able to take a "screen shot" (hit "Print Screen") of the warning you get and paste it into an e-mail to me: adrian.harris@internetbrands.com
I will check to see if you are getting it from the site and/or what I can do to help you!

Best regards,
Adrian
