Problems - Viruses - Etc with this site
Below is a copy of a Windows warning I received today and thought the moderators would like to read it.
This is not the first time I have noticed issues with HD Forum.
I received this as this site began to load and Internet Explorer closed because of it.
"What is Data Execution Prevention?
Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) code from system memory locations reserved for Windows and other authorized programs. These types of attacks can harm your programs and files.
DEP can help protect your computer by monitoring your programs to make sure that they use system memory safely. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you."
Again for FWIW.

If it does, you can restart them one at a time to determine which
one is the culprit. I've had this happen before but ignored it, and
I've been here since '05 and never had a virus. I wouldn't use IE
in the first place, it's actually considered the least safest of all
browsers. I use Firefox.
