Default Quoting posts...

Is there a way to quote a persons post and have it include everything that was posted in his post and not just that reply..

example.. someone quotes what i say with a response. when i quote him to reply back, it only quotes his response and not my quote inside his reply..

TIA

I believe you can right click and copy the entire post, then hit "new reply". In that post window, click the caption in the post toolbar. That will give you quote tags in the post body, then you right click in between those quote tags, and click on paste. Similar to what I just did for this response. Of course, that was only your quote, but you get the idea, I believe it will allow you to copy/paste everything you highlight.

Let's test it...

Yep, it looks like that will work.

so theres not a one click button to do it all by itself.. dang.. thats a lot like work.. LOL..

thanks..

those with the powers should correct that.. when you click on quote post, it should quote everything.. they need to correct the thread last post also.. having to click another button to take you to the last unread post is ridiculous, which it doesn't do it right half the time anyways...
