Click "Multi Quote" for each post you want to include, except for the last post. Simply click "Quote" for the last post you want to include.

If you don't know which post will be your last one to multi quote, just click Multi Quote for each post you want included. Then, at the very bottom, the Reply button will have the number of quoted posts in parentheses. Click the Reply button.

If you don't have access to the POD....I've copied it here...

Obviously you can use the quote button for a single post. This immediately brings up your text window so you can type your response. I prefer using the Multi-Quote button even if I'm only quoting one person. That allows me to go through a long thread and gather up all of the posts that I want to respond to. If it's only one person, then I don't have to go back and find them, it will just pop up. Below are the simple steps.

1. First, if you have decided to quote one or more persons, click on the Multi-Quote button. This button is immediately to the right of the Quote button. When you click on it, a check mark will appear in the little box.

2. Each time you click on the Multi-Quote button to quote someone, the number will increase on the Reply button. You can see below I've multi-quoted 2 people/posts and the number 2 is in parenthesis.

3. Once you've decided that you've quoted everyone that you want to respond to, you simply click on the Reply button. Make sure you don't click on the "Quick Reply" otherwise you will get a blank text box.

4. A text box will appear with all of the quoted posts that you want to reply to.

5. Now is the time to type your responses. After each quoted post you will see the html tag "
". Make sure you type your response after each one of these so you response lines up with the quote. Below you can see a sample where I placed my response after each quote and then made the text bold.

6. At this point you may want to preview your work. To do that, click on the Preview Post button.

7. If you are satisfied with your responses simply click on the Submit Reply button.

I hope everyone will give this a try. If you have questions, feel free to ask. If we can't help you, ask one of your grand kids for assistance.[/QUOTE]
