Default thread depth

I have a 07 FLHRC-I. What would you consider to be the minimum thread depth on the back tire that you would ride on before changing it out?

2 mm. Which I think is about 3/32nds.

Its not much of a problem on dry roads but once you get below 1.6mm the tyre may struggle to clear enough water fast enough to maintain sufficient traction. We only have about 8" sq. of contact patch on the road anyway, which is less than the palm of your hand on each wheel.

As the tyre wears the risk of puncture increases also, so for me about 2mm is when I change out.

Legally in the UK we can got to 1mm but IMHO thats not the best option.
