I need some advice on the proper routing of the speedometer cable. The cable is long enough when I remove the housing but when I reinstall and take a ride the odometer and speedometer work for about a 10th of a mile. I think the routing of the cable is the problem. The cable has been on the bike for a long time. However after the new tire was install the cable isn't staying in the back of the speedometer.
