Default 2001 fxdl front forks

i want to keep my front forks from compressing so much when i sit or stop...i serviced the oil just as book said..what after market thing can i do to keep it from compressing so much...with my 21" wheel on front i dont want it lower,,,looks better up,,new springs,spacers ??????? help me guys

We used racetech springs in a brothers bike ('01 FXD) He's 300lbs.....worked well.

Yup...new springs in the forks. You need ones with the the correct spring rate for your weight and set up the 'sag' with the correct amount of preload.
Getting the rear suspension set up correctly while you're at it will be necessary.

Use extra heavy oil in the forks. Change the valve NOT the springs. There is a 39mm valve used in racing bikes (Gold Valve). Just go to the super bike store see which bikes use the 39mm shocks (after all the internals are ALL jap made).

progressive springs help a lot to prevent dive under brakes.set the right preload and for extra you can fit racetech gold valves which are for compression dampening.
