That measurement is from the top. A measurement of 130mm is More oil Not Less

Those springs sound like a good upgrade, think will install a set on my next fork service although with good fluid in them the stock set up works decent.

OK, so I rode 750 miles on Saturday, SUN and Monday from Indianapolis to Hazard KY and back.

The front is more firm and I like this better than stock, it is not a "night and day difference" but a decent improvement.

Would I do it again, yes, but I would consider a 10w oil, might do this in the summer

Hope you had a great trip. Glad to hear the springs are a good upgrade. I went with 10 wt, I doubt if I could tell the difference anyway but I love the front end now

I haven't done my upgrade to the progressive springs, been too dam chilly. I picked up the SE Fork Oil. I'm hoping for the best since Harley took away our drain plug.

I'm glad that you caught that, because I didn't 🤪. I meant the drain plugs in the forks. Now if you put too heavy or too light of an oil in, you have to take each tube off to drain and refill.
