Hi all,

Does anyone know of a quick release kit for the 92 RT tour pack? I have searched everywhere and have not really found anything to just release the tour pack. I found one kit (maybe) that would release the rack, sissy bar and tour pack.

Any help?

I remember my '80 FLT had a primitive quick release mechanism. Unfortunately I don't quite remember how it worked but you might find something in the parts manuals for late year shovelheads with tour paks.

 

Boosted Brad makes quick connect sissy bar brackets etc, might offer a tour pack version as well.

 

I have that setup on my 94 low rider. I'll be moving it to my rt when my tins come back from paint (if that ever happens!) I can't imagine it would be any different whether it had a sissy bar or tour pack. They're the same.

It's a nice part, but it rattles a lot with just a sissy bar on it. Maybe the weight of the tour pack will help.
