'09 Low Rider/'10 Super Glide Custom...main differences?
Have my eye on the above bikes at couple different local dealers. They both have forwards and passenger seat/sissy bar set up...so pretty apples to apples in that regard. Comparable mileage as well.
I was hoping some folks could shed a little more light on these two bikes for me. Thanks in advance.
Edit: Probably should have posted in the Dyna section. Mods feel free to move. Thanks.

They're very similar in ride and feel. Not sure if any changes were made from 2009 to 2010 though. If any I'd guess they were minimal.
Keep in mind the Low Rider has a tachometer while the Super Glide doesn't, and that the Super Glide has the ignition switch on the tank while the Low Rider has it on the steering column. You can always get a speedo/tach combo on the Super Glide.
Can't go wrong either way. Just a matter of which you like best. Good luck!

Unless they've changed things in more recent years, I believe the Low Rider has a couple more degrees of fork angle, vis-a-vis the Super Glide. This will make the SG a bit more agile at lower and parking-lot speeds, and the LR a bit more "planted" at highway speeds...

Don't forget cast wheels on the Low Rider, and spokes on the SG. For peace of mind on the road, I prefer cast with tubeless tires.
Edit: I just remembered that back then, the SG may have cast wheels, but they be ugly! Also, I believe the LR has the black engine and the SG the old gray one. I've liked the black motors ever since I had my 1980 Low Rider.

The Super Glide was usually the stripped down version in the Dyna/FXR world. The Super Glide Custom is chromed out nice like any other "factory Custom". The Dyna Wide Glide had the raked out front end but I think the LR and SG are pretty close. Can't go wrong either way in my view but I am partial to the name "Super Glide" for some reason.
The only way I'd pass on the SG would be if the color of it sucked. You can check out www.morrisonmotorco.com they have a few Dynas and SG's for sale with some good pictures.

The Low rider also has the display built into the risers, as opposed to the Super Glide Custom which uses standard risers. The '09 Super Glide had a silver motor, but the '10 switched to black like the Low Rider.
As mentioned, basically the same bike with a different dash/gauges and a little extra chrome on the Low Rider. Can't go wrong with either one.
