Don't know about the Mobile, but I had a long talk with the Redline rep at a trade show yesterday. Turns out the V-twin and the regular 20-50 are the same formula, just $3 more per quart.
So you talked to a competitor rep and you were surprised that the rep was not a fan of Mobil?
Really don't understand why it bothers people. Don't open the threads if you don't like them. Simple really.
Bothers a lot of us because there's a huge dedicated sub forum just for oil newbies and those who love to rehash it weekly but is seems they NEVER can find it.
Im a big fan of Mobil One V-twin oil for my bikes. In my car I run Mobil One extended performance with matching filter and only change my oil once per year. I also run Mobil One in my airplane, never fell out of the sky yet.

even though there is a subforum for it, and it gets brought up weekly, there never seems to be a shortage of misinformation....

"Interesting" ! Their V-Twin transmission oil is the same as their Automotive transmission oil and is offered at the exact same price on the Redline website along with the posted comment:
* "Same fluid as our unique Heavy ShockProof® Gear Oil".
I'm just mystified as to why they don't have a similar comment, and price relationship, for their "same thing" 20-50 motor oils. Same company - different policies ??
