Work's fine for me. I still use the old school straight weight Formula + gear oil in the transmission and primary. The Mobile V is needed in the combination gear/engine combination boxes on the large metric cruisers. If you want to keep the alarm level down when your friends drop over to knock down a few cold ones and change their oil, do what I do.
