It's time. The move has to be made.
There have been previous threads like this, and I have to add my name to the list of those who will soon be moving to the world of trikes. Because of medical stuff that I won't bore you with, I either have to go to 3 wheels or get out of the wind all together. My Road King is scheduled to undergo a RoadSmith conversion in November. Much research has gone into this decision. Financially, a conversion is the best bet. This "getting older" stuff ain't always easy, that's for sure. Stay tuned.....

The goal is to keep your azz in the wind !! I have always pondered what decision I will make !! I've only been riding again for a few years !! Time in the wind is getting precious !! Good for you ride safe and ride often !

I got no problem with trikes at all. Seen some really nice ones. When the time comes for me (not as far away as it used to be) I can promise you I will not worry one bit about going to 3 wheels. Anything to keep the knees in the breeze.
Ride on.

A friend of mine almost 70, just traded his SG for a Tri Glide. He says he wished he'd done it a couple years ago.
Good luck with yours, can't wait to see the conversion.

Myself included and I kind of like this idea for some reason. Looks cool and maybe have some power.

I still don't have any problem holding up my big bikes but find myself riding the small one I bought recently. So easy to ride and fun....

Good to know you still want to ride.
I saw a nice looking trike yesterday at a biker bar. It had custom looking fenders that made it stand out.

I'm right there with you. But I'd like to know what steered you to RoadSmith. I'm thinking Hannigan myself but RoadSmith was also at the top. My big concern now is do I waste the money on a 07 or just find a used factory model instead. Really like my bike but got to look at the whole picture. My recent complete ankle replacement would have bought 10 or more brand new trikes crying out loud. And that surgery really knocked the wind out of my sails.
