Just bought a windshield from a forum member and I don't know what I need to mount the thingNew to windshileds here!

 

Does it come with the mounting hardware? Did you ask the member you bought it from?

 

A Harley Quick Detachable doesn't need any hardware. Most all other types require something. I would suggest taking what you have to any motorcycle (even metric) shop and they can give you a better idea of what's needed and not needed.

 

Good plan. The day I buy a windshield, I'llbuy a Electraglide..then die in a wreck from having the batwing wobble from a crosswind. J/K guys!!!
