I've tried Tourmaster heating system (pants, jacket, glove liner) and my liners aren't up to the job. I don't have to deal with 4 degrees on a regular basis, but running 26 degrees at 60 MPH puts my hands at a pretty good chill. Call me a wuss, but I have tried handlebar muffs. I know, I know, WUSSY!! However, those damn things mixed with heated grips are the greatest thing. My hands aren't cold, actually they run a little on the warm side. They cost me only $20 bucks and are easy to attach and remove.

I take the jabs from my riding friends, but then I turn to them and ask, "and which one of you a**holes are still riding?" Aahhhh..silence from the peanut gallery.

With due respect, don't you guys have snowmobiles in Maryland? I prefer the appropriate machine depending on the weather. Tomorrow I'll be on the Artic Cat. The Harley comes out in April. JMO

Today I picked up First Gear heated pant liners at 35% off. Did 50 miles in the 30s right out of the BMW dealer I got them from. Along with the Gerbings gloves is cold riding glory.

LOL, It is true about the snowmobiles, but I don't put my bike away until the snow starts falling. I'll ride through all kinds of cold. Honestly, I've tried cold and wet, but laid my bike down on a turn and decided that I've reached my weather limits.

Besides, it is hard to take a snowmobile to work.

36 here today, silken underwear top, t shirt, and a hoodie under leather jacket a pair of chaps beanie helmet and deer skin gloves. 18 miles and turned around, hands frozen to the bone. Everything else was good, also had a neck gaiter on.
Time for some new gloves.

It was around 36 here as well, I had my polypro bottoms on as well as my tourmaster top and bottoms with chaps, leather jacket, 3/4 helmet over my balaclava and of course using my handlebar muffs. All in all I was actually comfortable. My hands weren't cold using my summer gloves.

I've tried various pairs of gloves (before the muffs) and when you make it to a point where you are not trying to heat your hands up on the engine at a stop, then you are probably affecting your mobility which is a bad thing on the right side.

Your sure not a Wussy, your out ridding, what ever it takes to stay in the wind. Wussys are the ones with bikes in the garage.
