Might be better to pay off the bad debt that brought your credit score down before taking on new debt.
If you are earning enough to make motorcycle payments, I'm surprised the collection agencies haven't garnished your wages.

Yes eaglemark will give credit to anyone with a pulse. I have a 650 score and was able to get financing up to 28k. I think they go all the way to 96 months/ 8 year loans. But you have to apply to the store you are buying. They don't tell you interest rates once you get into the dealership. I'm guessing 10.99 up to 15% with my credit since I currently finance a bike at 10.99

I've got a buddy that was the finance manager at a Harley dealer. He's personally written loans over 20% interest to folks with bad credit through Harley credit.

I think today everyone's spoiled when it comes to interest rates.

I recall in the early 80's paying 15% for a 30 year home loan and I had great credit.

11% for a motorcycle loan sounds reasonable to me especially with bad credit.

I haven't read all of the replies here so I may be repeating what someone else has said. Before you finance through Harley, take the time and investigate Federal Credit Unions. They're much cheaper and easier to deal with than Harley.

You can be debt free and still have bad credit.

Ramsey is a guy who preaches to people on how to be debt free.
Of course he does this using his experience of himself being irresponsible and going bankrupt.

Oh yea he also gives financial advice if you sign up for $10 per month.

Hell I give the advice for free; spend less than you make.
