Default Helmets?

Do you guys ride with them? If not, why not? And do you use a full face? Half? I came from riding rockets and I occasionally rode a full face but not always cause it was hard to really be aware of things around me for me at least. But I want to maybe get a half now, any suggestions?

If you feel it is best, use one. I'm currently using a modular after trying a half and 3/4. This after many years of going without.

Bounced my noggin off the pavement in 2005 and won't ride without one now. I have a 3/4 that I wear when my wife rides her bike and we have CB communication. When it is warm I have a 1/2 I wear.

I have several and usually go with my 3/4. Though I recently got a simpson outlaw bandit, it's been my go to over the last four months or so.

If I'm putt-putting a mile away to visit my GF I probably won't wear one. But everywhere else I have a full face helmet. Main reason is that I want to be protected from stuff smacking me in the face and eyes like bugs & rocks & 70 mph wind - all of which I have felt and heard bouncing off my helmet.

Sadly I'm probably less worried about my brain.

Can't do the full face, tried for a full summer. I have a half and need to pick up a new 3/4. I toss them ever 4 years and get a new one.
Helmet saved me four years ago when I went 30 feet down a embankment, almost strait down, won't go 10 feet without one.

I have been a 3/4 helmet guy for the last 43 years, but here lately if I am only going about 30 or less MPH for only a mile or two I wear a ball cap.

Leaning toward this color, although I know how much abuse I'm gonna take...
