Default Fool the O2 Sensors

V & H recommended I unplug my O2 sensors in my set up. I did and it works great. Much better low idle performance.

Problem: the engine light stays on. Does any one know of a plug in for the sensor that will fool the bike into thinking the O2 sensors are plugged and extinguish the check engine light???

Thanks.

Yeah, there's a plug in thing that goes into the sensor plugs to give the value the ECM needs to stay happy, I'm surprised V&H doesn't have them with the kit.
Several manufactures have them, here's one that was easy to find;

They are bike specific.
I'd be calling V&H and find if they offer them first.

There's a setting in the programming that "turns off" the O2 sensors and doesn't result in the light coming on.

Just tune the bike properly. Removing components that are there to help keep the bike in tune is completely backwards when trying to solve fueling issues.

^^^^^ +1..........IMHO, removing/by-passing the 02 sensors is a mistake. That's also the opinion of several EXTREMELY knowledgeable tuners in my area.

+1 ^^^^^ Get a powervision to tune your bike correctly, or take it to get tuned properly. If O2 sensors weren't needed, the MoCo wouldn't spend tons of $$ in r&d and equipping bikes with them.

Open loop, Closed loop.
Always a debate.
Ginger or Maryanne?
Ford or Chevy?
