Default Anyone ever used a rented U-Haul bike trailer?

Just curious if anyone has ever used U-Haul to trailer their bike anywhere. If so, quality? Would you do it again?

If you are talking about the Uhaul motorcycle specific trailer I have not used one myself. I did have a friend that used one, I saw the trailer and would not have hesitated to use it

I know there are threads here concerning that trailer and from what I remember the overall opinion was that it was a good trailer.

I used one when I purchased my bike. It can't be beat for low rental price and would be my first choice if the needed one again.

Yep. That's the exact one I was looking at. Good to hear confidence. Thanks so much!

My wife and I rented that trailer to haul two smaller cruisers. It was a tight fit but the trailer worked out great.

I used that same model trailer from Uhaul when I bought my bike from a dealer 400 miles away. Can't be beat for the cost and would rent it again if needed.

Yep - used one to bring my RK home. I *hate* trailering any bike, but my hands were tied here as the boss was away on a biz trip so I had no ride to the dealer. The trailer is good quality, provides tons of tie-down options, and worked out great. Here's a few pics. Apologies for the dark photos, but it was already well past 9 by the time I left the dealer.

I have used it a few times to trailer bikes, sometimes over 600 miles, always held up well, especially since I am not the most careful driver!! and with a $14 price tag per day? it can't be beat!!

Hey Knucklehead. I know it's dark but is that a Smokey Gold RK?

I rented that same trailer a couple weeks ago. I broke my drive belt on the Road King (picked up a sharp rock) and called my wife to rent trailer and bring my truck to come and get me. Loaded easy with built in ramp, V-notch in front of trailer for front wheel, and lots of tie down points. Pulled great, like it wasn't even back there for the 100 mile trip home. Rented it on a Saturday morning and kept it until Monday morning as they were closed on Sunday. Cost me around $35 including the optional $8 (?) insurance. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
