I always use Lucas cycle oil, and buy it in April when its dirt cheap at the Lordco Trade Show, they have some winter specials right now, may have a deal on some other oils, go to your local store and ask to flip through the trade show catalog. Im pretty sure you have 3 oils holes to fill on your bike. Get the Harley repair manual and research on you tube. Welcome aboard from Maple Ridge, always like doing the 4X4 loop up through Harrison and back down through Whistler.

Welcome from where it's WARM!
Just use what the manual says & you'll be OK. I wouldn't fall for the synthetic hype, However...When I last had my primary oil changed (don't do it myself 'cause I don't have power tools yet for the rear footrest Allens) they mistakenly put in Syn 3 instead of Formula 1. They said bring it back, they'll replace the fluid no charge, but I liked the way the clutch felt much better with the Syn 3 so I kept it. More progressive, and not grabby when hot. Your results may vary.
