M8 engine
I have three 110's a 12 RG CVO, 16 RG CVO Ultra and a 16 Lowrider S. My 17 RGS with 6,500 miles on it and Stage I will hang with the CVO's without any trouble. But of course the lighter Dyna runs away as it should.
The 12 110 in the Road Glide CVO was the highest torque 110 that H-D ever made most before and after up to 2016 were at 115 ft. lbs of torque at the crank and the 12 was 122.
The M8 stays with the 12 and is slightly better than the 16. I don't know the stats on a Full Stage I M8 but someone had posted their dyno results and I can't find it.
In my opinion the M8 is the best motor by a wide margin over any previous H-D motor.

yep the Low Rider S is an awesome bike.
the question has been answered in M8 section. Fuel Moto has posted numbers
Numbers don't tell the whole story. I want to get some first hand thoughts on it.
Well let me put it this way, my 93" shovelhead embarresses 103's and holds it's own on most 107's, with a stage 2 or 3 and rider that can use it the 107 beats me. My new 17 M8 Road King with a stock 107" pulls harder than the shovel. I haven't broken it in yet so I haven't really had a chance to go play happy hand but gut says the stock M8 will be a handful to the 110's. Do a stage 2 or 3 to the M8 and it'll own the road till you find a 120R or 124" player.
Best bet would be the M8 section then

I don't have any personal experience with the m8 but from all the reviews I read it would seem that it's the best engine Harley has ever produced. I expected they will have some reliability issues at first though so I won't be getting one anytime soon.
If you are really into a power boost, you may want to consider another brand. In considering the real World difference between bikes in the 600lb-900lb range that try and push 100hp, it just doesn't really make that much of a difference.
There are many brands that are good for 150hp and weigh in at less than 600lbs.
Example:
Ducati Diavel Carbon: 162hp 520lbs.
Personally, power boost means little to me, if it was really important, I'd own the Diavel instead of my Road King. But that's not going to happen.

An standard M8 with the 114" kit makes more torque than a CVO M8 which is 114". The 114" kit is a damn good bargain.
If you got money to blow, start with a CVO M8 which is 114" and add the 117" kit to it.
