I bent mine purposely and was surprised how little weight it took to bend. When I stepped on it and it started to bend I was actually afraid I bent it too much because it started to go with a lot less pressure than I was anticipating. This is the welded on piece that you would use to deploy the stand, not the stand itself. But its all factory. I'm about 190 lbs
