Headlight and Spotlights Problem
p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; } I own an ‘07 Softail Deluxe and last November took a spill damaging the front end. She’s all back together now, but in the process the wrong front fender was received and painted, I now have a fender tip light. I ordered the wiring from my local Harley dealer and when received it was installed. I plugged it in just under the gas tank in the 2-wire plug provided. It works, but now my headlight and spots don’t.
I have tested all fuses for continuity and checked the relays to feel the “click”, but have no power to the 4-wire female side of the plug for the forward lighting. If I apply a 12v source to the male side of the plug, the lights come on as normal, so it’s not a bulb issue. At this point, short of tearing it down to check the harness, I’m not sure what else to check.
I would appreciate any assistance anyone may provide. Thanks.
