Default Headlight not working

Afternoon I tried searching this and can't find anything. Also I have a trip planned this weekend so need to get my problem fixed ASAP! So this morning I go out to start my 2008 street glide and the headlight is not working. So I automatically check the fuse it's good, move on to the headlight itself which is a Phase 7 led looks good can't tell so I put the stock on back in still doesn't work. So I test the plug no power but good ground checked with multimeter, move on to the switch no power oh and now indication of high beam on the dash either. My question is the a ballast in the stock HD plug could the plug be bad? Or what else could it be the Headlight was working yesterday morning.

Checked with a test light and replaced with a known good one.

You need to follow the wires back and see where the power physically stops prior to the plug itself. Electricity is a brutal Mistress. If you have no power to the plug it had to have stopped somewhere prior. If you have the manual use the wiring diagram to the letter.

Turns out when I swapped my grips this last weekend when I put the hand controls back on a pinched the power lead that leads to the switch long story short unpinched wire replaced a fuse and problem fixed.
