My favorite time to ride is at dusk, but yea; I'll ride anytime.
My bike came with this great mod; it's called a "headlight".

I love riding at night although I'm not out and about at late hours all that often anymore.

I get off work at 10:15pm and have a 40 minute commute, so yea I ride almost every night. Pretty much all back roads through farm/rural area until I get to my town.

I don't care if it is day or night, I will ride any time I can. And soon the night time will be the best time to ride here in AZ. Already hit 108 last Friday, though it cooled off the past couple of days to the 70's. But when it is 110+ during the day and only 100 at night, night riding becomes more popular. Plus less traffic out so even riding in Phoenix is not too bad.

I ride at night when I have to, I ride in the daylight when I have to, and some times in the daylight and not very often I will ride because I Want To.

When I've got a lot of freeway miles to cover, I like getting a really early start, like 4 AM.
Drunks have long passed out, cops usually aren't out, roads are uncrowded for a couple of hours, cool temps, hot coffee in my cup holder. ****! Then I got to stop to pee.

Yes, I ride at night. Two years ago hit a deer Friday night coming home from club house as I turned onto my 6 mile long dead end. I was lucky had slowed for turn, and deer and I saw each other at the same time. He swerved left and me right, it was a glancing blow. I did not go down but had to bend fender back off front tire.

I must be lucky then.
I ride to work (weather permitting) every morning between 3 & 3:30 AM.
For the most part it is the quietest time on the road.
