06 cam chain tensioner confusion

Not quite correct. The 2006 dyna was the only tc88 to have the hydro tensoners. I believe it was used as a test to see how it worked. 2007 all big twins had the new hydro tensoners.

Check your bikes's Owner's Manual or Service Manual for the recommended Inspection intervals.

According to the stack of receipts from original owner the ipb went out at 1600 miles he had it changed after that it went out too more times before he had the dealer change the entire trans case. I'm not sure what that entails but I think the ipb should be fine because that was done before 10k miles it's 36k

Who can say what stock 103" engines had spring loaded cam chain tensioners ?
