Still lucky enough not to have hit a dog, deer or larger, but I have received a robin directly to the center of my chest at 60mph (no windshield) and later hit a pheasant which actually broke off part of the right side of my windshield and smacked my right knee HARD. A few bee stings from geting them trapped in my helmet as well.

So, and wild animal stories out there?

 

Hit a raccoon one nigh a few years ago, was on a sportster. Actually it ran into my foot bending the foot peg. Knock my knee into my chest. Lucky I didn't go down.

 

I hit a dog about 20 years ago and I hope to never hit one again. Came close to hitting a deer a few times thank god that didn't happen.

 

I hit a ground hog that intentional ran into the road .

 

Got myself a porcupine one night. Tough little buggers.

 

None so far. Hoping not to hit anything any time soon.

 

Raccoon, he was looking for an assisted suicide and got one.

 

Hit a turkey once. Slammed into my mirror which broke off and flew off into me. The bird then hit lower into my leg and the side of the bike. Scared the living crap out of me cause it was at night and didn't see it coming. Only thing hurt was my mirror was broke off the stem and bird guts on the side of the bike...and the bird.

 

I almost hit Bigfoot once. Big sucker.

 

I hit a dead and very bloated ground hog, I think it happened so fast I didn't have anytime to react. I hit that sucker square on doing 70mph. The front end wobbled a little bit and then smoothed out. I pulled off at the next exit and I had guts all over the front of the bike and the gremlin bell my girlfriend gave me was ripped of my right foot board. I guess it did its job.
I also got hit by a sparrow on the front fairing one time. That was quite a smack but very little damage.
