Just why does anyone really care about what someone else likes as a bike?????? Me I'm kinda enjoying my M8 and I really don't give a care what you ride or think about my ride.

when you have both pistons moving up and down in same position, vibration will result. anyone that has ever rode an old vertical twin powered bike knows this. I use to have an old Yamaha XT500 single, that had vibration also.

I love my M8. The vibration at idle adds character. Moving its as smooth as butta.

At some point we all have to take personal responsibility for these ridiculous troll threads.
I'm convinced it's the same guy, sitting on the couch with multiple user names, asking dumb questions that we all respond too. I mean hey...... I fall for them all the time.

Registered user since 2014 with 140 posts isn't exactly a troll.

The Harley engine is at war with itself, some like it, some don't, some wonder why it isn't what it was 20 yrs ago, some wonder why it isn't what it will be in another 20 yrs.

Currently, it appears that lots of people with $$ like them.

Screw it. I'm going to go out and "pose" on my old bike for a while.

I bought a Harley because I like motorcycles, had a GSXR1100 in the past and wanted something different. I thought when I said "its a cool effen bike" it was clear I liked my bike but I dont want an old one. I love cars too, had over 60 to date because theres just so many cool cars out there and not being narrow of mind and restricting myself to something specific, Im enjoying a wide range of them. I want another Harley, thinking soft tail but again not an old one and Ill keep my RK. Am I looking for prestige or a certain image? Nope, just having fun during this short time we have.

Vibration- it's what made me love Harleys in the first place. Lets you know you're on a motorcycle. I loved my first Harley '78 Super Glide bought in 78. Loved my second one, panhead chopper bought in 79, reconfigured in 80. Loved my 94 evo WG bought in 2010 rode until last year. Really love my 16 RK- best one yet. Liked the 2 Sportsters we've had too. The all vibrate. Heck I even love the 750 SOHC Honda engine- the rest of the bike not so much. Stick it in a Denver frame and it's beautiful...

I'll be honest, if that livewire comes out under 25k and does 100 miles per charge or more I will give it consideration. the one failing I have had with electric bikes besides range is none provided any real storage. figure it would be a cool toy.

did twenty years with bmw twins, a few odd four cylinder inlines from them as well. v twin or boxer twin, both are cool

Seriously? I inquire re a comment on an entirely different forum and you proffer the lame, "it's a troll" response?

You don't know the answer. In that case, just stay off the thread. Let knowledgeable people answer the question.

Second, you have me confused with someone who cares what you think.

Regardless, my inquiry has been answered.

Thanks to everyone else for that.
