Have a chip mode for the alarm? I just bought a new (16) left over trike, lights blink but no chirp when activated?

 

Only the CVO bike have an audible siren from the factory.

You can add one to the others if you want though, but your trike didn't come with one.

 

Thanks you confirmed my suspicions. My Ultra came with one, thought this one should also.

 

Is your Ultra the CVO version?

If not, then the audible alarm was added on after it left the factory.

 

I added a siren/alarm on my first bike because I only have a carport. It wasn't that much and worth peace of mind...even though, if they really wanted it, it's not going to stop them.

 

It has a chirp mode. You just can't hear it because you don't have a siren.

 

There are some inexpensive options available. I read several threads here on the forum and bought a unit off eBay for under $20.00 which wired in perfectly. Works great.
