Don't have a broke wrist but am recovering from a mishap with a crossbow which resulted in three factured fingers a broke thumb and a bunch of stitches.
I bought a adjustable clutch lever which helped a lot but still a little rough on my injured hand. Just a few minutes ago they picked my bike up to carry to the shop and install a Rekulse clutch. Will keep ya'll posted with results.

...... broke mine a month after getting my new Road Glide in '06.
..... went the pins & plate route & told the guy putting the cast on that i just got a motorcycle & could he make the cast so that i could operate the clutch.
....... he said he could & i was riding for the month + it was on. no biggie.

I broke my left wrist in 1968 in a roller skating fall. The doctor set it then and it healed in 8 weeks total.
I don't have complete flexibility but it works mostly good.

Been fortunate that it hasn't set up Arthritis, yet.

I've ridden dirt bikes and racing bikes not to mention 3 and 4 wheelers with no problems that I couldn't overcome.

I'm coming up on 500,000 miles on a Harley since 1995, so operating the clutch isn't a problem, for me............

Took a spill on Coast Highway in Malibu on the 4th of July several years ago. Undocumented Immigrant ( I hope that is the correct term, can't keep up) made an illegal U-turn and my vision was blocked by a large truck...down I went. Broke my left hand in multiple places...titanium and pins holding everything together.

No worries, you will be out riding and pulling the lever in no time. My physical therapy doc rode and considered pulling a clutch lever part of therapy.

Great info and thanks for sharing. Your doc sounds like my kind of guy.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the interesting stories and anecdotes in this thread. I was totally freaked out when I found out that I had broken my clutch wrist and I was very worried as to whether or not I would be able to ride again. But I am making a great recovery and I'm pretty sure everything is going to work out. These stories help give some reassurance so thank you to all who contributed.

I broke mine when I was 14, I was already riding mini bikes & dirt bikes for 7 years then. I had surgery to set it, compartment syndrome, 2 pins and cast. It took a little time to get flexibility back in it but not too long. I broke it on Good Friday and was back on my dirt bike that summer. It has never given me trouble since.

Broke mine in two places and also my left arm in two places in the same accident. I don't have full range of motion in my left arm anymore, but neither my arm or wrist bother me when I'm riding. Although, I didn't have surgery on it, just a cast so it might be different for you.
