I like to static balance the tire. That's the way race teams do it. Problems that people have had with the beads are having them freeze up due to moisture in the tire and having the beads groove the inside of the tire.
YMMV ....go with what works for you!

fast forward to about 5:25 in the below video for their negative opinion of the beads.

In the last 3 yrs we've have maybe 5 days below freezing and those only touched it sightly.... Love Houston for the Heat.

Congratulations OP, that's a nice setup. I have the No-Mar Classic & balancer. I use dyna beads on tubed tires, but I still use weights on tubeless.

I bought a cycle hill tire changer years ago It paid for itself very quickly. I've got 4 bikes so paying someone else to change tires got a little spendy.

Nothing better than doing it yourself. I balance with dyna beads, service my bearings while the tire is off, and clean the spokes real good.

Exactly. It isn't about cost savings to me. I just had a perfectly polished aluminum rim dinged by a ham-fisted tire change at an MC shop. Tire had to come back off, then I had to fix the rim, then have it re-installed after I read the guy at the shop the Riot Act.

I have to get my own system.
