My only experience is with slime in bicycle tires. It probably wouldn't be that great to use on a motorcycle -- it just goes in loose and would probably throw the wheels out of balance until the tires warmed up. But they make double-wall innertubes where the slime stayes evenly distibuted. Don't know if they make them in motorcycle sizes, but that would be the thing to look for.

Not a safe idea, you can use it to get you to the shop but thats it. If the tire is compromised you need to replace it.

Prepare for a solid **s chewin' from your tire tech if you do. It makes a mess and is very difficult to get off the rims.

I used to work in a tire shop (automotive/truck tires etc) and we used to charged $20 extra to have to deal with that mess. Like another member was saying it MIGHT get you to the shop to get it changed but i wouldn't count on it.

I've used regular Slime in motorcycle tires despite dire warnings not to and it worked fine.So long as you take it for a ride after you install it,it shouldn't throw the tires out of balance.Of course now they make this stuff called Ride On especially for motorcycle tires I would use that before the Slime that says on the bottle "not to be used in high speed motorcycle tires"

I used slime today to get me back home from Mankato, MN to St.paul, MN it worked great in the rear tire. Going for the new tire in the morning. I had no balancing issues. I will take the ear full from the tech and I will give him an earful back.

What are you giving an "earful" back for?
Why not thank him for working on your bike?
