Default 400 miles with nowhere to go.

Oh yes. Been a long couple of months. I’ve been working my rear end off, I’ve been taking care of the wife that had surgery, and it’s just been Africa hot over summer. Needless to say, I’ve been spending way too much time on the HD forums talking about things other than riding.

Wife’s out of town this weekend, so I got up yesterday with no plan, fired up the bike and went northeast, then west, then back south east home. Was out for 12 hours stopping here on there, and zigzagging all over. Next thing you know, I had over 400 miles on the day. No plan, no itinerary, just went. I need to do this more often. F-Yeah.

Back home.

Usually how I start my rides and would be doing one today were it not for crappy weather. Sounds like a great day you had. Awesome and glad you got some wind therapy.

That's exactly the way it should be. Glad you got out to get away from daily life.

Meteor crater...

Riding out in Arizona it would appear.

Any predictions on what the riding weather will be in that neck of the woods this coming December? I'll be in Sedona during that time...

And the A’Bunadh is a great end to the day. Had no idea they were up that many batches. In fact, I might break out a bottle later today since it’s a gray, rainy, no riding kind of day here in SC. Thanks for the nudge.

About 40-50 degrees warmer than Maryland. Drier too...

I’ll have to yield to someone else that might be able to answer that question. I’m just TDY in the area, and have never been north of Phoenix in the winter time. Basically I have no idea.
