I don’t know the guy nor do I know much about Hospital beds. He said he’s been using it for years with all types of bikes and no issues.

Just passing along the info. Do with it what you will.

The weight limit of most hospital beds used to be 500 lbs. Beginning about 5 years ago, most hospitals started replacing wheelchairs with wider ones and hospital beds with a higher weight limit. Most now will lift 800-1000 lbs. As such, the beds have gotten larger to accommodate larger patients... like an American.

I once walked into a hospital room and the patient was laying on the hospital bed with a bed sheet over them. It looked like Shamu was in the bed.

By the way, CT scanner and MRI gantries are being replaced to hold heavier patients as well. Who do you think is paying for all of these changes? Yes, all the patients... you and I. It isn't cheap and it isn't free.

And I am sure the bed designers expected their product to be used as a makeshift bike lift. There should not be a tip over hazard when an 800lb HD patient is raised with a higher center of gravity than engineers intended.
Although this sounds like a good idea, I would not want to stand near, much less wrench, touch or bump said Harley on a fully raised bed.
I can't imagine an insurance company covering the loss on a bike falling from a hospital bed.

Bought this with an online coupon couple months ago. 249.99 plus tax and has all the right stuff already. And there normally only 299.99 And rated 1000# that's the way we do it uh huh
ps the lift table not including the bike just for those that will intervene
