Default Picking Up First Harley, advice?

Hello,

I am supposed to pick up my SG tomorrow from the dealer, first Harley 2nd bike (coming off of a sv1000s after 3 years). Ordered it last week added some steel braided lines, jiffy stand extender, skull grips and a HID kit.

Advice, tips, comments?

Dru

Go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure it's not scratched or dinged. Also make sure the VIN matches the paperwork. I've heard stories about people getting a bike with a different VIN than was on the paperwork/registration.

Get some Slip-Ons, Intake and Fuel Manager (ThunderMax, PCIII, Fuel Pak, or SERT).

Just go over it with dealer to make sure its in great condition.
Make sure that any warranty, addons etc are all in order.
Good luck and congrats on the new bike.
Post some pix when you get it

Wear a 1/2 helmet on the ride home....it's the best way to getthe maximum amount of bugs in the smile you won't be able to wipe off your face

SG...SuperGlide? or Street Glide?

Either way, good choice, and congrats.

Next thing to do is open a Home Equity Line of Credit.

You should probably get vaccinated for what we like to call Chrome-itis. Congrats on your new ride, hope the waiting doesn't bother you too much. Try not to pop any wheelies out of the parking lot. hah

Congradulations. Put a Power Commander on it as soon as you get home. I'm serious. You'll see.
