Don't know about AAA except towing mileage is pretty limited. If you belong to HOG, road side assistance is included but with some limitations as to mileage but if you pay an additional $19.95/year you get coverage for two bikes and unlimited mileage to the nearest HD dealer. I travel long distances so the unlimited tow distance is important. However I have never needed or used roadside assistance with a motorcycle.

AAA premium covers RV's and bikes, will tow 100 miles free. Had to use them a couple times last year, no hassles.

I'd go with the $19.99 extra with unlimted mileage.
100 miles is nothing. When I ride, I'm over 100 miles away from home.
Under 100 miles, I can have someone bring my trailer.

AMA is very good and a bit less expensive than HOG.

I have the upgraded HOG plan, gives me 5 vehicles, 3 bikes and 2 cars. I have used it twice for bikes, one excellent experience and one miserable experience. But they did the right thing after the miserable experience so I would still recommend. And it is cheap so....

I have HOG which is one tow a year, but I also joined the AMA a few years ago and that has unlimited tows, not sure of the distance they will go. I do not have an extended warranty but I believe that pays for more services if you break down far from home.

This is the best deal IMO.

My brother has AAA. His bike broke down about 25 miles from home, no trailer.

He called AAA and they did not have anybody that would tow a bike in the area. He paid for the tow and then waited about 2 months for the refund of the tow.
