Likes and dislikes for the 2018s
Don't like the wide rear tire on the Fat Boy. I like a wide rear tire; just not that wide. Makes the primary stick out too far.
Don't like the headlight nacelle on the Fat Boy. I like the ones from the previous years much better.
I prefer classic chrome to the brushed look of the 2018 Fat Boy.
Otherwise I like the 2018 Fat Boy.
Don't like the small gas tank on the 2018 Breakout. What were they thinking?
I like the 2018 Heritage. Much better bag setup than previous years. Looks 'way better. If it had struts instead of spokes this would be my favorite 2018 Harley.
I like the 2018 Low Rider. I wish it had a bigger headlight though. I like a big headlight.
I have decided that I like chrome a lot better than the blacked out look. YMMV but chrome just looks hot. Easy to maintain, too. My 2015 Fat Boy gets ridden hard but still looks showroom clean.
Love the M8 engine, both the 107 and the 114. It's great that HD improved upon the already great Twin Cam. (Love my 103 Twin Cam on the Fat Boy, but it is great to know that when/if I ever upgrade, the engine will be even better.)
My $.015.

Likes: Looks, features, most everything about them.
Dislikes: Prices.
I went to my local dealer to buy a new Street Glide in Twisted Cherry. Ended up getting a CVO Road Glide instead. I just couldn’t stop looking at that Gunship Gray....I love the Twisted Cherry on the Softails but not so much on the touring bikes, especially when they’re blacked out. Didn’t look as good as I’d hoped. Looks good on the Fat Boy, though, especially in the sunlight....

There is nothing I don't like about any of the 2018 lineup per se. However, I don't like the fact my Road King doesn't leave the factory with a DC outlet. It's classified as a "Tour Bike". Common man!
My next bike will be a Twisted Cherry Fatboy. I love the way it looks and sits.

I wish they offered the 114 engine on all Softail models.
I wish the Fat Bob, Street Bob, and Breakout had bigger gas tanks.
I wish the Heritage Classic didn’t have any types of studs on the seat/bags.
I have a feeling that I’ll get over all of those after I ride a few models next week.
Im in the market.

i personally think they ruined the softail line of bikes, but i'm an old school type. maybe if i road one i would think different. the fatboy is really lousy looking. the touring bikes are fine as long as a person trusts the M8 engine. it will be awhile before any of it sticks on me. to each their own.
