Default Motorcycle Carrier/ Joey Lift /Trailer/1000 lb cap

Anyone ever seen or used one of these before?? Would you carry your bike on it?

I've been looking for something like that for my RV to tote the bike. Will check it out - have to wonder about the tongue weight capacities of various hitch set-ups. Thanks for the post.

I've been looking for something like it as well but had the same concerns. Where's Mikey when we need him, he'll try anything...

That things kinda impressive. I have a much simpler, lighter one that I won't haul my Harley on. With mine, it has a little right to left play in the receiver. This lets the bike swing a few inches & can get a heck of a sway going unless I strap the far ends of the carrier to the ends of the rear bumper.
The one listed on Ebay looks well thought out & when I figure the steel, the hydraulics & the pump, the marketing & the liability, I think that's a heck of a good price.

I like the Idea and have been starting to see ones simular to that on Craigs list here
but my bikes are to long to be hauled sideways behind a truck
I am still interested in purchasing a Rampage lift for my truck

No! It might lift it. But I think that's too much weight to carry like that.

Here's part of what the Ebay site says:

ALL CARRIERS ARE LIFETIME WARRANTEE ON EVERYTHING BUT LIGHTS AND WIRE PERIOD!! AND THATS STANDARD ON ANY JOEY LIFT PRODUCT!._________________________________________ ___________________ WE HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURING THESE CARRIERS FOR4 YEARS NOW WITH NO FAILURES,MADE BY BIKERS FOR BIKERS !____________________________

Mikey here, and if you buy me one I'll try it. Unfortunately the tongue weight would exceed the capacity of my Class C motorhome, so I guess you'll have to get me a nice, big Class A to properly test it.

Cool lift, I like the concept much better than a trailer. However, I wouldn't deal with someone with this feedback rating.

Ya the feedback makes me a little nervous as well. It looks like thet're all pretty old though and all positive on the carriers. I like the idea better then a trailer though. No rock worries and driving a truckwithout the best gas maileage with this on the back instead of being dragged couldn't be all that bad... Unless it fell off.
