Default My 2007 FLSTC stock Handlebars are uncomfortable!

I really dislike my stock bars, I was thinking about getting some Wild 1 chubby knuckles! so my question is are any of you using these and if so will they work with stock wire and cable lengths? Just for the record this is an all stock bike that I wanna make a solo ride and strip off all bags -windshield- stock seats ECT. so there will be many more questions to come, some may seem stupid but I will ask anyways. I will be keeping all take off parts because I'm a hoarder!

Thanks

I replaced My stock Heritage handle bars with A WO518 CHUBBY Road King 1 1/4" Handle BAR and chubby 4" riser
It was more comfortable for me.

Put some 16" bars on there and you will be very happy...I know I am with mine.

When I had a Heritage, I had 14" Wild1 chubbies, they were extremely comfortable. I'm 5'10"

With a name like Wild One Chubby Knuckles, the bars must be comfortable.

Makes as much sense as "with a name like Smuckers, it HAS to be good."

I'd never make recommendations on handlebars, as they're very much an individual preference. Some like 'em high, some like 'em low, some like 'em wide, and so forth. A lot of people here seem to like ape hangers, and I, personally can't stand them, and refuse to believe anybody actually chooses them for anything other than looks. I have a handlebar bend I absolutely love, but I won't recommend them to anybody else for that reason.

Well you'd be wrong then. Stock bars on that bike caused me a lot of pain. After I put those apes on I could happily ride for hours. Many many many others like me.

I recommend people try them on other bikes, because people are afraid they wont be comfortable, and my observation is that about 8X more people regret not going taller, vs regret getting apes. But there are always going to be people like yourself who have never tried them, but still feel free to pronounce judgement on something they clearly know nothing about.

Hey, I thought passing judgement on things you know nothing about was what the internet was all about. Sorry I said anything, as I obviously know nothing.

I changed my 12 Heritage bars and risers to a set I bought off ebay from a Deluxe. Much better for me.
