Has anybody tried this stuff? If so is it any good? I've heard that some products leave a white film behind. I've used that S-100 spray that Harley sells and it works really well I just hate paying $10 for that little can when the Gunk product is half as much and you get about three times more.
I tried it. It has a burn off period and once your engine gets up to temp, it will smoke like a MoFo. The first time I used it I was sitting at a light while the burn off was happening and I had all sorts of people yelling that my bike was on fire. This continued as I rode around town, people blasting their horns and trying to flag me down. I got sick of it and stopped at a buddies house till it stopped smoking.
The other thing I noticed was that it seemed to attract dust much more than other products.
I slowly used the rest of the can but now I buy the S100 or Pig Spit.

I wash my bike's engine just like I wash the rest of the bike. If there was a bit of oil somewhere on the engine, I'd wipe it off with mineral spirits and a rag before washing the bike.
