Default Luggage that WILL fit with oversized backrest?

ISO some luggage for my RK which will fit with the oversized RK backrest. I was interested in the HD Tour Bag, however it states it does not fit with the oversized backrest.

Any quality options out there?

thanks

It's a real issue.

I have a Saddlemen S3500 sissy bar,and it works great. It WILL fit on the oversized backrest pad, and it's a quality product. June has lasted for 7 or 8 years, tens of thousands of miles in heat, cold, rain, dirt, and everything else, and I'm sure it'll give me at least another couple of seasons.

I was going to suggest the Saddlemen bag as well. The ‘sleeve’ that goes over the backrest is adjustable, I’d check with them but I’m pretty sure it’ll fit the RK. Nice piece, versatile and well built.

Great. Thanks! Can't understand why Harley doesn't make a rigid bag that will fit on their own backrest. Oh wait, they just want me to buy 2...

Eh, the Saddlemen is much better anyway. And better than the T-bag junk. I'm a way, Harley is doing you a favor! LMFAO!

forgive my ignorance (new rider) but do you mount it on the back seat over the backrest or the luggage rack? Thanks

The Dowco Iron Rider Brute that I have would fit as well.

Its got 3 fully adjustable straps.

I will shoot a picture of the mounting setup in a bit.

The HD Touring Bag will work fine, at least the rolling bag does. I've been using it for 8 years. The only complaint I have is that the "rain cover" isn't meant for heavy rain. If you're going to be riding in heavy downpours, or camping, put a trash bag over it before you put the rain cover on. I do like the reflective stripes on the cover though. Overall, great bag and it's held up well.
