I've had 2 bikes for about 5 years now, my second one is a 2002 Heritage Springer. Since I got the 18 Heritage I find myself rarely riding the Springer and can't decide whether it's time to sell it or just hold onto it. It doesn't cost a whole lot to keep it, insurance and maybe an oil change once a year, I've gone from riding it 4000 miles a year to maybe 1000 miles.
While I'm not in need of the money by selling it right now I feel sad seeing it sit there on a tender. One major issue is the seat, it is killing my tailbone even for a short ride. For some reason I have had chronic tailbone pain for the past 6 months and the new seat I've bought my 18 Heritage is helping somewhat. But if I ride the Springer I set it off again. I don't want to spend money on another seat for the Springer when it's not my go to ride. OTOH it is nice to have a second bike but I'd have to spend to keep it.
Yes first world decisions but I'm throwing the idea of selling it with you all.

...I recently sold a '15 RK & '07 883L. After getting my '16 TriGlide I found out I was riding that almost 95% of the time(wife loves it the best)and only putting a couple hundred or so miles on the two wheelers. Freed up garage space, saved money on insurance, maintenance & license plates. Maybe in the future I'll get a FatBoy, LowRider or something similar, but for now just the Trike is OK with me.

I think I'd get pretty good money for it, even with 65k on the clock, it has tons of original and extra chrome, seats, bags etc. and has been well maintained.

I dont think of selling what I have ever. Road glide is reliable for killing miles, shovel has alyays been a dream bike of mine and is just plain cool, sporty belonged to grandpa and is being built (slowly) into my vision of a nice little bobber. They are all in the stable for a reason.
If you don't need the money, keep it. The market is saturated so while you will probably get good money for a Springer compared to other models. But of all the bikes out there a springer may also be the one to actually appreciate in years to come..... Maybe.
