Default 1968 ElectraGlide

Belongs to a friend of mine. Just thought I'd share some pics. He's owned the bike for 41 years. He rides it a lot. Told me he paid $2400 for it back in 1977.

Very nice. What primary color is that? pinkish/purple?
No to sure about the glamor shots defusing of the pics however.

That wasn't glamor shots. That was just my poor camera skills, a rainy morning, and a dirty cell phone lens! LOL He's had it repainted, but that's the original factory red/white colors. It does look sorta pink, depending on the light.

Very nice, they dont make em like that any more. The newer ones are nice, but something about the older ones really sticks out. I like that white seat, thats old skool...

Even in those pictures the bike looks great (nothing personal).
I know of one similar sitting in a shed, the owned passed away this year.
I hope his son will continue to ride and get her out a dust off the cobwebs.
Time will tell...

Now if Harley still made bikes like that I’d be tempted to buy one.

At the beginning of the summer I had a shot to buy a 70 for 4000.00 It needed work... I’m still kicking myself.. These are waaaaay cool.. Back in the mid 70s my dad had a friend AL Rivera who had a blue one. I was like 15 or 16 and he took me for a ride, I was hooked. It was a gorgeous blue bike. Al had a friend Sal Medina who had a TOTALLY chromed out Sportie CHopper.. These 2 bikes started the HD madness for me.. Your friend has a great bike and it brought back a ton of memories.. I always wondered what happened to these guys and those bikes..Thanks!
